Today’s update covers how Microsoft Copilot will affect the future of computing, advertising, and the job market.

In the future, if you wish to use all of what Microsoft Copilot has to offer in terms of features, you will need to purchase a computer that has been "Copilot + PC" certified. Current minimum requirements include a neural processing unit (NPU) with at least 40 trillion operations per second, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.

Meanwhile, Microsoft Advertising has integrated Copilot into the Microsoft Advertising Platform to help copy writers generate variations of copy using refinements in wording and tone.

Also, if you wish to get a job at all, you'll need to know how to use Copilot or a competitor to Copilot. Microsoft and LinkedIn are reporting that currently more than two-thirds of industry leaders say they would not hire someone without AI skills, even more experienced candidates without AI skills.
